Stick circularity
Checks that each stick traces an even outline around its edge.
What it measures
The outline each stick traces around its edge, compared in sixteen slices with an even shape of the same size. The result is the average deviation in percent.
How to run it
Slowly roll each stick around its edge once, left stick first, then the right.
What the result means
- Pass
Both outlines are even.
- Warn
An outline is uneven in places. Aiming may feel less precise in some directions.
- Fail
An outline is clearly uneven, often from wear or a calibration problem.
- Skipped
Part of the edge was not visited. Roll the stick all the way around.
