Checks that each trigger rests at zero, travels all the way and moves in fine steps.
What it measures
Each trigger's resting value, how far it travels, and the smallest step between the values it reports. A fine step means smooth control.
How to run it
Slowly pull each trigger all the way in and release, twice.
What the result means
- Pass
Both triggers rest at zero, reach a full pull and move in fine steps.
- Warn
A trigger falls short of a full pull, moves in coarse steps, or only reports off and on.
- Fail
A trigger does not return to zero when released.
- Skipped
A trigger was not pulled far enough, or was pulled too fast to judge. Pull it slowly all the way in.
