Checks that the vibration motors work.

What it measures

Whether both vibration motors work. The page plays the light motor, then the heavy one, and asks whether you felt both; the result is your answer.

How to run it

Hold the controller in both hands and say whether you felt both rumbles. Play them again if you are not sure.

What the result means

• Pass

  You felt both motors.

• Warn

  You felt only one motor. The other may be weak or broken.

• Fail

  You felt no rumble. Some browsers cannot drive a controller's motors, so try another browser before assuming a fault.

• Skipped

  This browser cannot make the controller rumble, so the test could not run. Try another browser.
